Biohacking is a trendy term these days to describe do-it-yourself biology. It involves people making incremental changes to their bodies, diet, and lifestyle to improve their health and well-being. Also known as human enhancement, biohacking ranges from efforts to improve brain function to faster weight loss.

Paul McAneny had a typical bloke style eating plan. Lots of pies, sausages, chips, chops, very little vegetables, chocolates, biscuits, ice cream, beers you name it he ate it and drank it. And when Paul was at his worst through stress (financial & emotional stress) and not sleeping he was constantly eating these comfort foods. By adopting this way of life Paul was very overweight, had visceral fat around his stomach, no energy and couldn't sleep.

And what happens when we are feeling at our worst in life, we go for the comfort foods. We don't look after our bodies. We don't make an effort to look after our bodies, we don't take the time to eat properly, we don't take the time to exercise and we don't look after our mental health.

What Paul did next was to make changes in his life;

  • he starting to work on his mindset,
  • starting working on positive thinking.
  • he started exercising.
  • he started to eat alkaline foods.
  • he started to meditate.
  • he loves the steam room after a workout to relax and meditate.

Suzanne Skillen however has been biohacking for many years now. She understands how to look after the body as she was a ballet dancer and ran many successful Pilates Studios around the world. Suzanne recommends always to look after your body both physically and mentally for not only good physical health but also good mental health.
